Never Settle, Never Give Up by Jodi L. Milner

Never Settle, Never Give UpIt’s easy to look at someone else’s achievements and think, “Why can’t I do that?” The reasons are strikingly universal. Most say time is the biggest constraint. You would reach your dreams, if you had more time. The second reason is always money. If you had an extra $1000 lying around, you would be able to invest in those special running shoes, software, attend the conference, or travel to your dream destination. When my second child was born, I had a mini midlife crisis also known as turning 30. While I loved my kids, devoting every waking thought to their needs prevented me from creating dreams of my own. No matter what, those calendar pages kept turning regardless of what I did with the day. The…

50,000 Push-Ups for 2019

Each year I write down my new goals of what I want to accomplish. I keep a typed up list of each one and exactly when I expect to achieve them. It's easy to have exercise or weight loss goals, but it's also easy to fall away from them. One of my favorite quotes from Jim Rohn is "What is simple to do, is also simple not to do." This year I have a goals to do 50,000 push-ups which equates to 136.98 push-ups per day. To keep myself accountable I have been sending a daily Tweet (@jasonwoodland1) with my daily number. I figured for the sake of being able to see my numbers in one easy place, I would also update my blog here as well with the date…

“Toshi to the Moon” a children’s book about Blockchain.

It was January, 2018. I was standing in my office at the time in Sandy, Utah. It all of a sudden dawned on me that I should write a children's book about blockchain technology. I had been studying blockchain, Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies for many years before and had decided this was a contribution I wanted to make for this space. My Nieces were the original inspiration as I have been spending time with them talking about business, finance and what the future may hold. The very first person I thought to call is my dear friend Linda Rawson, as she was already a published author and we had previously been talking about another book I'll be writing. I figured she would make a great partner and she sure has. After…
