As we wrap up the first week of 2018, I sit at my computer going over this year’s plans and goals. Listening to some music in the background, Chris Isaak to be exact and it is now snowing outside. I am always excited for the new year and look forward to what adventures may be in store, but I am especially excited for 2018. This is going to be a breakout year on multiple levels and as I have said in social media posts, I am “doubling down” this year. What I mean by that exactly is that there will be no holding back moving forward on anything I do. I have always been a motivated and goal oriented individual that loves action, but I feel like there has been a tiny part of me that was holding back for some reason.

No matter how outgoing we are, we can sometimes hold back even if it’s only a small part of the time. I have a large appetite for risk, whether it be business, investments for just adventure in general, and I want to expand into that. Taking risk is where we grow the most, I would rather look back on my life at the age of 85 and say “been there done that”, instead of “dang, wish I would have tried”.

Regret is a big motivator for me. I don’t have much that I regret so far, and want to make sure with every ounce of my soul that that list doesn’t grow. I invite you along with me on this journey, let’s make 2018 a monumental year. A year of embracing growth, expansion, change, and personal development overall. Let’s not hold back when it comes to building new relationships and helping others when we can.

2018, here we come.
